Christine Boardman Moen is an author-educator who develops classroom materials which put theory into practice.

A classroom teacher with experience at several different grade levels, Chris has presented numerous workshops for teachers at education conferences and in-service training sessions. She has also worked with hundreds of students in Illinois, Iowa and Ohio at Young Writers' conferences and in writing classes where she encourages her students to write for publication.

Chris is a member of ICARE, the Illinois Council for Affective Reading Education, the International Reading Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She currently lives in northern Illinois with her husband Tom and their children, Alex and Ruth.
