About the Author

Canon Dr George Lings is Director of the Church Army's Research Unit, Sheffield and Visiting Fellow of St John's College, Durham. He has written Mission-shaped Church as well as over 50 booklets in the Encounters on the Edge series on the evolving theory and practice of bringing to birth fresh expressions of Church.
