About the Author:

Scott D. Butcher, FSMPS, CPSM is vice president and CMO of JDB Engineering, Inc. and affiliate companies. He has more than two decades of experience in A/E/C marketing, and is a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and Certified Professional Services Marketer. An author of thirteen books, Scott is also a regular contributor to industry publications, writes the Marketropolis blog on the Engineering News-Record website, and co-authored the SMPS Foundation book A/E/C Business Development - The Decade Ahead. He's also served as president of the SMPS Foundation, board member of AIA Central PA Chapter, president of Historic York, Inc., and has been involved with numerous community and professional organizations. A regular presenter to professional associations and community groups, Scott resides in York, PA with his wife, Deborah, and their son, Jonathan.
