Reputation ... A Leader's Path to Career Success is the result of many conversations about the importance of a leader's reputation in the workplace. We talked to many of the best coaches in the world. We reflected on conversations with hundreds of leaders we have coached over the years. We discussed it many times as we worked toward the publication of our first book together, Coaching the Dark Side of Personality. Through all those conversations and discussions, we are convinced of four things: All leaders have workplace reputations. All leaders experience reputational challenges. Effective leaders engage in reputation management. Effective reputation management results in career success. This book is dedicated to providing leaders with the practical knowledge and skills necessary for effective reputation management. We are passionate in our belief that leaders who follow the path we outline will achieve the career success to which they aspire.
