He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial Management from Clarkson University, as well as an MBA and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University. His research has been published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, R&D Management journal, Industrial Marketing Management, Technovation, Research-Technology Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, and Journal of Distance Education. He also co-authored The Strategy of Managing Innovation and Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Quality Engineering in the State of California.
