Synopsis
Research Handbook: 10 Easy Question-and-Answer Conversations, by Sandra Boyd, RN, MS and Cynthia Stinson, RN, PhD, is a comprehensive, yet reader-friendly overview of those important elements every nursing and health care student and professional needs to know when embarking on a research project. Traditional research textbooks put forward similar information in lengthy, often complicated text, which impedes learning. Using their more informal question-and-answer format, Boyd and Stinson cover everything from research ethics to understanding research designs, from data collection to analysis and qualitative research. Delivered in this manner, readers "get" concepts previously found to be complex, time-consuming, and frustrating. Not intended to replace the tradition research textbooks, this adjunct is absolutely essential for anyone desiring a clearer and more logical process.
