中医哲学方法论可谓中医理论建构与临床实践思维的核心。《中医基础理论研究丛书：中医哲学思维方法研究进展》将新中国成立以来中医哲学方法论的研究情况，分为气、阴阳、五行、中医思维方法四个大的方面，进行了全面、系统的梳理与介绍，对研究中存在的问题进行了点评。《中医基础理论研究丛书：中医哲学思维方法研究进展》可作为中医专业学生及中医临床、科研、教学人员提高理论与临床思维能力的重要参考书，也可供学习与研究中国传统哲学与思维方法的人员参考。《中医基础理论研究丛书：中医哲学思维方法研究进展》：3.阴阳与矛盾的属性规定不同阴阳论讲双方都具有一定的属性，对立统一论则没有。魏稼…比较早的研究指出：阴阳学说与矛盾法则的不同，关键在属性问题上，矛盾两方面的事物属性一般不固定，而阴阳两方面一般则有着固定的属性，阴阳的对立统一是矛盾现象，但矛盾的对立统一非阴阳都能概括，故阴阳不能等于矛盾。在古代，当人们发现宇宙间许多事物都能用阴阳法则分析时，出现这种提法无可非议，而在科学高度发达的今天，如果曲解经文，认为“阴阳能普及一切…阴阳即等于矛盾”等，这是不切合实际的夸张提法。阴阳学说与矛盾法则是不同时代的产物，前者主要应用于自然科学之中医理论，而后者则普遍应用于自然科学及社会科学的整个科学领域。刘长林认为，阴阳的对象是自然的整体，自然的整体表现为现象，阴阳作为意象形式的概括，是为各种起决定作用的自然动态之象划定了范围，揭示了它们的关系，确定了它们的性质。阳概念包括阳一类的那些功能性态，阴概念包括阴一类的那些功能性态，它们具有某种特定的规定性。对立统一规律则不然，其对立面或矛盾双方，除了具有既对立又统一的关系之外，不做任何其他的特殊规定，更谈不到属阴和属阳。它们是对所有发生对立统一关系的双方的纯粹抽象。这样，对立面或矛盾概念，由于内涵仅限于“对立统一”，因而外延具有无比的包容性。这也正是对立统一规律具有最大普遍性的原因。关于阴阳的规定性，邢玉瑞认为：从阴阳属性的角度言，阴阳理论对阴阳双方各自的属性有着特殊的质的规定，正如《素问�阴阳应象大论》说：“水火者，阴阳之征兆也。”即水和火的特性比较集中地反映了阴阳的属性，则水为阴，火为阳，绝对不能反称。从哲学阴阳实体的角度言，“阴阳者，天之气也”（《张子语录》），即专指阴气和阳气；在中医学中，则将对人体具有推动、温煦、兴奋等作用的物质称为阳，对人体具有凝聚、滋润、抑制等作用的物质称为阴，具体到脏腑，又有心阴、心阳、肾阴、肾阳、胃阴、胃阳等，均有其特定的内涵。另外，洪梦浒等则从阴阳与矛盾所及的事物关系考虑，认为阴阳是对相互关联的事物和现象中“对立”关系的概括，其意义与辩证唯物主义矛盾的“对立”有着广狭之别。矛盾的“对立”包涵着一切形式的相互排斥和相互斗争，其中“差别”也是对立。阴阳的对立关系只能在事物与现象既具有同质性，又两相互反的条件下才能确立，因而只适用于同一范畴的事物与现象。正由于阴阳对对立双方属性的特殊规定，故在无限的宇宙中，阴阳范畴仍只是一种有限的具体的矛盾形式，一般在自然界中，若研究的事物超出了直观所能达到的界限，阴阳范畴就可能会失去效力；至于社会生活中的许多复杂矛盾，就更难以阴阳来概括了。……引言第一章
