Reservations, Good Times, and Apprehensions (Paperback)

Paperback. Reservations, Good Times, and Apprehensions is Volume VII of The Witness Series - a memoir and genealogical record from a father who has outlived two of his children. Tracing family lines from Mecklenburg, Germany to the rice country of Arkansas, from Revolutionary War supply lines in South Carolina to a household in Flint, Michigan, this book follows the improbable chain of survival that had to hold, generation after generation, for any of us to exist at all. Written by a Vilomah - a parent who has outlived a child - this is not a clinical account. It is testimony: what it costs to keep going, and what's owed to the people, named and unnamed, who kept going before you. This item is printed on demand.
