Resilience - Deconstructing G.R.I.T. Collection: 40 Women share inspiring stories of perseverance in spite of adversity and choose to walk through life with purpose, persistence, and awareness

This collection of real-life stories written by 40 women who have chosen to face their difficult moments with RESILIENCE—the spark inside which allows us to bounce back when we get knocked down.

These 40 unique stories highlight how RESILIENCE pulls us up by our bootstraps, keeps us moving forward, kicking obstacles aside, as we pursue our individual paths with purpose.

You will recognize three primary stepping-stones to RESILIENCE…

Commitment: The choice to be resilient requires us to be conscious of our progress. Having a daily commitment to ourselves and to our goals strengthens our ability to accept change as we overcome the next challenge. Our future is determined by a belief in ourselves and the actions we take, ultimately leading to the progress we make.

• Persistence: Aspiring to stay on course, no matter how difficult the path, requires perpetual patience and invincible inner strength—both dictating the outcome of our efforts. It’s our persistent self-determination which leads us through the struggle to success.

• Purpose: Knowing our purpose in life allows us to better maneuver through challenges when they arrive. It’s the setbacks, dark times, and difficulties that strengthen our purpose and allow us to be more aware of our gifts. Our purpose defines our destiny, brings us joy, and lays a path for achieving our goals and achieving personal success.

Resilience gives us the strength to traverse through life with a strong backbone and firmness of conviction. Each chapter invites the reader to step into an author’s shoes as they share their unique personal journey of overcoming obstacles and moving beyond hardships. Our hope is that YOU will be encouraged and empowered to find your passion, live out your purpose, and emboldened to embrace your own inner strength and resilience.
