Dr. Dwayne L. Buckingham is President and Chief Executive Officer of R.E.A.L. Horizons Consulting Service, LLC. He is a highly acclaimed international clinical psychotherapist, relationship expert and corporate consultant. Over the past 15 years, he has dedicated his life to helping individuals, couples and corporate leaders build healthy relationships by providing world-class empathy and resiliency consulting. Dr. Buckingham is well respected among his professional colleagues and is known as "The Empathy and Resiliency Doctor or The E.R. Doctor." As a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force for nearly a decade, Dr. Buckingham provided psychological assessments, treatment and psycho-educational training to over 20,000 individuals, couples, groups, and families worldwide. In recognition of his outstanding service as a psychotherapist and consultant, Dr. Buckingham received six Commendation medals, a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and five Achievement/Unit Medals. Currently, Dr. Buckingham is commissioned as active duty Commander in the United States Public Health Service and is detailed to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Psychology Department. Dr. Buckingham is a highly sought-after professional speaker, author, film producer, seminar facilitator and life skills consultant.
