This basic book challenges us to rise up and out of our individual and collective fear and live with greater courage. Just as we do things to build our physical immune system, we can build our spiritual immune system and move forward with courage and strength through that which we fear.Conditions do not cause fear. Our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about conditions cause us fear. We may not be able to change the conditions in which we find ourselves, but we can change our inner environment as we deal with those fears.

Rev. Dr. Michelle Medrano is a career minister in the New Thought movement. She received her ministerial degree at the School of Ministry at Mile Hi Church in 1991. The Huntington Beach Church of Religious Science hired her as an assistant minister, and she served in that capacity for four years. Then she was blessed to serve as senior minister of New Vision Center for seventeen years. In 2013, she was invited back to Mile Hi to serve as an associate minister. In the spring of 2019, she joined Rev. Joshua Reeves as the co-lead minister of Mile Hi Church. Writing runs in her family and authoring articles and books has been a part of her career dreams for a long time. This is her first book.

Rev. Dr. Roger Teel is a life-transforming speaker, a gifted community builder and a global spiritual leader. He is Minister Emeritus of Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, Colorado. He is the author of "This Life is Joy: Discovering the Spiritual Laws to Live More Powerfully, Lovingly and Happily." Teel is a visionary and co-founder of the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT), an organization dedicated to "consciously bringing forth the evolving human and an awakened world through the practice of universal spiritual principles and the energy of unconditional love." In 1999, 2001 and 2004, he assisted in facilitating the "Synthesis Dialogues" with acclaimed global leaders including His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
