About the Author: Rabbi Prof. David Golinkin is the President and Jerome and Miriam Katzin Professor of Jewish Studies at the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He is the author or editor of over 40 books and over 200 articles including The Responsa of the Va'ad Halakhah, The Status of Women in Jewish Law, and The Responsa of Prof. Louis Ginzberg.
