As a pastor, Matt Hagee recognizes that there are things in our world that need changing, and, like many younger Christians, he wants to be a part of the solution. In addition, Matt has received a rich legacy from his father--pastor and best-selling author John Hagee--that includes experiential wisdom rooted in solid biblical principles.
 
In Response-Able he combines the passion of youth with the wisdom of his father’s experience to provide both the inspiration and the steps for a lasting change in each of five key areas:

For generations the mantle of carrying the good news of Jesus Christ has fallen on the shoulders of the men in the Hagee family. The tradition continues in the life of Matthew Hagee, a sixth-generation pastor with a heart to encourage and uplift the believer and see that the lost find Christ as Savior. Matthew began preaching at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio at 18 years of age. Since finishing his education, he serves as the associate pastor of the 18,000-member congregation in San Antonio, where he helps his father minister to the church body as well as a television audience that spans the globe.

In October 2003, Matthew married Kendal Young, who gave birth to their first child, Hannah Rose, in April 2005. Matthew and Kendal minister together in the Joshua Generation outreach at Cornerstone Church.
