Dr. Michael Rion, Principal of Resources for Ethics and Management, is recognized nationally for his pioneering work in ethics training that successfully bridges the gap between theory and practice. He provides consulting and training in ethics and management, responsible leadership, organizational development, quality enhancement and collaborative problem solving.

Dr. Rion brings a combination of practical business experience and solid academic grounding unique among ethics consultants. Rion served for four years as Director of Corporate Responsibility at Cummins Engine Company, where he worked directly with line managers on issues of responsible management. Before forming Resources for Ethics and Management, he served six years as President of Hartford Seminary, an ecumenical center for continuing education and applied research.

Rion earned a business degree with highest distinction from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in ethics from Yale University. The Responsible Manager presents the practical framework for effective decision-making he has developed through his years of experience working with executives.
