Opera d'esordio di Piero Jahier, Resultanze in merito alla vita e ai carattere di Gino Bianchi fu pubblicato per la prima volta nelle edizioni dei Quaderni della Voce nel 1915. Nella forma di un fascicolo ministeriale si narra la triste vicenda esistenziale di un travet che finisce per identificare la sua vita con la propria anzianità di servizio: le sue giornate, modellate pedissequamente sui ritmi burocratici dell'ufficio presso il quale lavora, sono ossessivamente uguali le une alle altre e cadenzate, prima che sui bisogni reali, sulle necessità di servizio. Perfino le più elementari pulsioni fisiologiche vengono costrette entro le abitudini forzate dall'orario e dalle modalità che l'ufficio impone. Quel che ne viene fuori è uno stralunato personaggio che può considerarsi perfino parodia di se stesso, già abile e preveggente satira dell'alienazione burocratica che rende inetti alla vita vera. Gino Bianchi è svuotato di psicologia, ridotto al puro ruolo di automa amministrativo, atlante di una fabula che fa dolorosamente a pezzi i miti della modernità e dell'efficienza amministrativa. cm.14x22, pp.152, Coll.
