Resurrection in May (Center Point Christian Fiction (Large Print))

It was a mission trip to Rwanda that brought a sense purpose to May Seymour's life. So when the genocide began, May decided to remain in the country. When her village was attacked, May became the lone survivor -- an event that changes her completely, and brings her faith into question.

Claudius Borne was a sweet old man who understood plants and animals far better than people, yet it was to his farm that May went to heal. Years later, May has still not stepped foot off the farm. When May hears that Eli Campbell, an old college boyfriend, now a death row inmate, is refusing to appeal his sentence, she becomes determined to convince him that he must grab hold of life again. Their surprising friendship actually turns the tables on May, as Eli gradually begins to pull May out of her cloistered existence.
