My Resurrection

My Resurrection is a raw, unflinching memoir of addiction, trauma, faith, and redemption. From a childhood fractured by parental dysfunction and generational curses to years lost in substance abuse, Billy Griff's story is a testament to the transformative power of surrender and grace.

Born into chaos—a house divided by hatred, alcohol, and infidelity—Billy became a victim of generational trauma. Shuffled between angry parents, he learned to numb himself with television, then drugs, then addiction. For decades, he cycled through homelessness, overdoses, prison, and failed relationships, chasing validation from women and oblivion in substances. He lost everything: jobs, homes, custody of his son Gavin, and the will to live.

But in the darkest moment—riding a bicycle through a Florida forest at night, lost and alone—everything changed. A voice called to him: Keep moving forward. It was the voice of Jesus, and it began Billy's resurrection.

My Resurrection chronicles his journey from rock bottom to genuine faith, from self-destruction to service, and from despair to joy. Written directly to his son Gavin, this book offers hope to anyone trapped by addiction, trauma, or the belief that they are beyond saving. It's a story of how God's love breaks generational curses and heals what seemed irreparably broken.

For anyone still in the dark—this is your map out.
