War: Resurrection

The year is 2168. Italy and France are at war, and the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace is in flames. Congo militant Simba Ashanti’s only allegiance is to himself, and he’ll kill anyone who stands in the way of what he’s after.

Pope Valenti II’s body lies with others as Simba leaves with a medallion, a scroll, and a crying African baby named Hakeem, whom he raises as his own.

Fast forward to South Pacific Colony in 2185. SWAT commander Joanna Nightingale and her unit are called into action after an Outsider kills a doctor. Joanna’s unanswered questions about what happened to the hostage taker’s body will haunt her when her daughter Kelly Ann and her classmates are killed in a school bus shooting.

While the police arrest Hakeem, Joanna doesn’t think they’ve got the right guy. She’ll break every rule and not shy away from violence to find out who’s responsible. She’ll have to face Simba and risk her life before she knows the truth.
