Retirement Earned: Lessons from the Journey

To give a message of hope to young people and provide a plan and path forward to retire comfortably. When you are young, retirement seems so far away. This is usually the time of your life where you have limited income and have a lot of expenses.
Did you know that almost 60% of all Americans will have less than $10,000 saved for when they retire? Another 20% will have saved only between $10,000 and $100,000. This book is written for those 80% who are headed for a retirement disaster.
I will show you how to achieve financial security with a plan that anyone can follow. It doesn't matter what your current income level is, almost anyone can save enough money over time to have a secure retirement. Wouldn't you like to be confident in the knowledge that you are on your way to becoming financially secure? Wouldn't it be nice to know you can reach a tipping point in your life where making money is not a critical concern anymore? Get to a place where money momentum has taken over? Once financial independence is reached, your money will make money for you. It will be your main source of income.
My hope is that by sharing my own unique stories, perspectives, experiences, influences, thought processes and actions; all of which led to my results, I can guide, encourage and reinforce possible paths for you. My goal is to provide a plan and guideposts to your own life's actions and results toward financial independence.

For more than 35 years, Mike built a successful career in sales with two Fortune 100 companies―AT&T and Cisco Systems. During that time, he held roles including Account Executive, Sales Manager, and Sales Trainer. For two years, he was selected to facilitate and teach Executive Selling Skills programs for sales professionals and sales managers in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mike earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from The College of New Jersey. While at AT&T, he was also nominated to participate in advanced leadership training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
A lifelong learner, Mike has always been deeply interested in personal and financial growth. His studies have spanned goal setting, psychology, motivation, faith-based inspiration, advertising strategies, real estate, and more. Through years of reading and learning, he came to understand the importance of long-term goals in turning dreams into reality.
After achieving many of his personal and professional goals, Mike was inspired during retirement to share his journey in order to help others pursue financial success and personal development. He is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate their own life paths.
Mike is married to Barbara and is the proud father of two sons, along with two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. He views this book as a lasting legacy―not only for his family, but for anyone seeking a practical roadmap for self-improvement and growth.
