I invite you to journey with me, from the dark days of the COVID-19 pandemic to the light at the end of the tunnel, which I saw before demitting office as Minister of Health and Wellness of Barbados. This book documents the heroic efforts of the people of Barbados, who stood shoulder to shoulder to fight a destructive enemy whilst, at the same time, having to confront the aftermath of a freak storm, Hurricane Elsa and the eruption of the Soufriere volcano in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It showcases the "Barbados Way" in the multi-sectoral responses to the multi-faceted nature of the pandemic.
