Retribution's Emissary

Retribution's Emissary won second prize in Amazon's "New Author - First Book" competition. Mark is a talented marksman with a murdered daughter and a fragile marriage. When he is forced to resign from his regiment, he is recruited by a covert, multi-national organisation. Their expedient philosophy of sacrificing the life of a tyrannical dictator in order to save the lives of thousands, is secretly financed and supported by the governments of most democratic nations. Mark’s new role is to target oppressive tyrants and dictators. This takes him to Damascus, Beirut, Kenya and Somalia. Here he is distracted by the lovely Judy who brings another threat to his relationship with Liz. Finally Mark confronts a nest of ruthless pirates with connections in high places.

Retribution's Emissary is Nick's first book and it secured a 2nd prize and good reviews in the 2014 Amazon competition. His second book is now underway. Nick is a well-travelled individual and looks back upon a rewarding work-hard, play-hard life. In his early 20's, Nick was part of a team maintaining a dam in the raw bush of Australia. More recently he was a gold, platinum and silver trader in the City of London. Then before he and his wife moved to France, he spent many years as the MD of a successful, Cambridge based resource management business. In the next book Mark has to make some difficult choices and has to fight for survival.
