About the Author
Laura Cruger Fox finds herself in many wonderful roles in this life, including mother, wife, author, publicist, designer, filmmaker. Author of the self-help book "Return To Center," Laura is currently delighted to be engaged in promoting the works of Vernon M. Sylvest, M.D., author of "The Formula" and Dr. Richard Bellamy, author of the upcoming "12 Secrets for Manifesting Your Vision, Inspiration and Purpose." Her company Creative Spirit is dedicated to promoting peace, prosperity and enlightenment through publicity, graphic design, writing and events coordination. She is currently working on a children's book series. Her greatest joy is raising her son Benjamin with her husband Eric. Laura leads "Joyful Pregnancy," an on-going Sunday afternoon class for pregnant women in which participants have the opportunity to commune with other pregnant women; communicate with the child in vitro; experience deep relaxation and guided meditations for a healthy, happy, joyful pregnancy and delivery; share issues and stories as the pregnancy unfolds; and practice gentle movement for flexibility. Each woman present will have the opportunity to experience a simple blessing ceremony of nurturance and deep love shortly before her due date. Special speakers will augment one class per month. Art projects will also be occasional events during class. Classes Laura has previously led include "Return To Center, which helps participants learn centering techniques for daily living and inner reflection, "The Talking Stick," a class on communication skills, "Grounding and Cleansing" for deep reflection and physical health, "The Great Mirror" wherein we learn to see life as a reflection of our inner being, and various craft-making classes. Laura received a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Media and French from The American University in Washington, D.C., where she was graduation speaker in 1985. Her subsequent work in the world has included everything from canvassing and working for Greenpeace -- during which experience she discovered that change can only come from within each individual -- to working on major motion pictures to managing the now closed Native American store WolfWalker. Her next book and tape series should be out within the next two years.
