Return of the Richmond Vampire tells a cryptic tale of the Church Hill Tunnel collapse and the urban legend that it spawned. In October of 1925, one of the most catastrophic railroad disasters in history occurred in Richmond, Virginia. In the aftermath of the tunnel's cave-in upon locomotive and crew, a saw-toothed bloodied beast emerged out of the tunnel's eastern portal. Witnesses claimed they chased the creature from the eastern portal near Chimborazo Park all the way to Hollywood Cemetery. There, it disappeared into the eerie chamber of William Wortham Pool's mausoleum. From then on dubbed the Richmond Vampire, the beast has not been seen since, until now.
