The Return of Sherlock Holmes: The Case Notes

Written by Sherlock Holmes’s trusted friend, this intriguing scrapbook contains the notes on which Dr. Watson’s later, more detailed, accounts are based. It includes newspaper articles, sketches, and maps, with each one reproduced as a historical artifact—complete with tears, fold marks, handwritten annotations, and stains. Glassine “evidence bags” preserve 15 of these items, so readers can easily remove and study them.
