When I was twelve years old I made a promise to God that I would serve him; And It is my desire to keep that promise with God's help. I don't think I could ever forget the time when two friends of mine and myself, took a fisherman's boat without his permission, All because we loved to fish. But that mistake almost cost us our lives; What was so unfortunate was that I believed my friends were able to row or paddle the boat. "When asked, they all said yes we can. However the truth came out when we got caught up in a very strong cross current, that quickly carried us out to sea, and the land begin to disappear as we were helpless. I then discovered that I were the only one who could row! "My friends, begin to cry for their parents, I began to lose hope also: "But because I grew up with some members of my family who were praying Christians, I learn to pray. I was not a Christian, "But I knew I love the Lord. So I Prayed. I told God that I would serve him if he will help us get to shore again. "Right then, the Lord told me what to do. he told me to look in the bottom of the boat. There is a middle board which can be moved. he said to let the older boy use it to paddle at the side of the boat, while I scull. I had no idea that board could move: "It was like a miracle, "Who would ever think of that? "But it really worked. Soon the land begin to be clear to us again. It took us a while but by then the sun had set, and the darkness begin to show by the time we made it to shore. "But had it not been for the Lord; I don't know how our life would end. I soon forgot that promise I made to the Lord, but the Lord reminded me many times, and I am happy he did. I am now a born again Christian.
