"If you liked BETRAYED you won't be able to put REVENGE down"
Floyd Dyess, West Palm Beach, Fl
"I've never read a book that kept me up all night. I had to find out how it ended before I could go to sleep." Terry Holzman, Virginia
"When I got to the last chapter, I didn't want it to end."
Anne Kartch, St. Thomas, USVI
Some of the characters that you loved to hate in BETRAYED are back in REVENGE. Thomas, the wealthy and powerful attorney in the Bahamas, can't decide whether he loves his current girlfriend, Maggie Stewart, or Eureka Simone, his wealthiest client's beautiful fiancé. Unbeknownst to David, his girlfriend, Maggie and her two roommates, Dana and Mary, had to leave Miami, Florida before the police discovered their involvement with the "Angel of Death." The Miami Register, Palm Beach Sun Times, and Ft. Lauderdale Guardian described "The Angel of Death," as the female serial killer of the century. She isn't satisfied to "simply kill her victims," she's seeking revenge. She murders her victims using an herb she discovered while working in Haiti. The herb causes her victims to develop flu like symptoms within 8 hours and during the following 36 hours their body literally destroys itself and the process is irreversible. Death is slow and extremely painful, which The Angel of Death believes is appropriate for the crimes they have committed. Nothing is too bad for her victims.
Detectives in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach are baffled by the "Angel of Death" because she leaves no forensic evidence or clues. Palm Beach County Detective Larry Mancuso, a former NYPD homicide investigator with 20 years experience, is perplexed by the female serial killer. She's either the most brilliant criminal he's ever tracked or the luckiest murderer on the planet.
Revenge is a page turner with a bombshell of an ending. It has numerous subplots that keep the reader on pins and needles, guessing how it will end. Revenge 8 Hours to Die is Robert Terwilliger's second novel and proves once again he knows how to write a story that's impossible to put down.
