He lives in Australia with his wife and five children. He possesses Medical degree, General Practice qualification, Primary Anesthesia Fellowship Examination and Opioid Replacement license. His work experiences involve the specialty area of Anesthesia, Intensive Care, Pain Medicine, Medicinal Cannabis and Addiction Medicine. His medical publication in 2012 as primary author with the Professor of Nephrology as secondary author include "Supramaximal elevation in B-type natriuretic peptide and its N-terminal fragment levels in anephric patients with heart failure: a case series".
