About the Author

Dr. Susan Plank is the owner and operator of Plank Chiropractic & Wellness Centers in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. She continues to practice chiropractic and offer restorative nutritional consultation even after suffering her traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2006. She has been a guest speaker at the Pennsylvania Brain Injury Association yearly Conferences, Western Pennsylvania Brain Injury Symposium and has spoken at numerous brain injury support groups. Dr. Susan was never a writer before her brain injury but now can find great comfort in writing. She feels many brain injury survivors have "new gifts" that they didn't have before their injury.
