John referring to a certain mythical Cain who slew a mythical brother, and to discover the writer of the epistle to the Hebrews speaking of the faith of this same mythical personage which prompted him to make a more excellent sacrifice than his brother; and further, referring to a certain blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel just as if a re ll person. Christ too evidently stumbled when he referred to the blood of righteous Abel as if he believed in his existence and in his murder.
