A Revised Account Of The Experiments Made With The Bashforth Chronograph: To Find The Resistance Of The Air To The Motion Of Projectiles (1890)

""A Revised Account of the Experiments Made with the Bashforth Chronograph: To Find the Resistance of the Air to the Motion of Projectiles"" is a scientific book written by Francis Bashforth in 1890. The book provides a detailed account of the experiments conducted by Bashforth using his own invention, the Bashforth Chronograph, to measure the resistance of air to the motion of projectiles. The book includes a thorough description of the chronograph and its workings, as well as the methodology used in the experiments. The experiments themselves involved firing projectiles of various sizes and shapes at different velocities and measuring the time it took for them to travel a set distance. The results of the experiments are presented in the book, along with detailed analysis and discussion. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of scientific experimentation and the study of aerodynamics. With The Application Of The Results To The Calculation Of Trajectories According To J.
