In good rebound condition, with boards and spine remaining in good condition. Hinges remain in good condition and original text block remains bound well. Small ink stains to title page and light markings to interior of modern boards and end pages. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. A scarce piece on the American Revolution by Giullaume Thomas, L Abbe Raynal (1713-1796), a French Enlightenment writer and man of letters. One of 2 London editions.
