Rewired by Grace

What happens when everything you thought made you strong finally breaks you?

J.J. Shawver had it all - the career, the body, the image, and the future everyone envied. A Division I athlete with limitless potential, raised in a proud Catholic home, chasing his father's approval while performing his way through life. But when cancer claimed his dad's life during J.J.'s senior year, the foundation he'd built everything on collapsed.

Grief became addiction. Success became a mask.
And one morning, sitting on the shower floor - skeletal, shaking, and exhausted - J.J. realized he wasn't just losing everything around him... he was losing himself.

Rewired by Grace is the true story of a man who fell all the way down and found that God's grace runs even deeper. It's a journey through pain, addiction, and surrender - and into the intersection of faith and neuroscience, where the Creator's design for renewal is written into the brain itself.

Through raw storytelling and practical teaching, Shawver reveals:

How trauma, identity, and belief systems wire the brain - and how Scripture aligns with neuroscience to bring lasting transformation.

The hidden patterns of self-sabotage that keep people stuck in shame, even after salvation.

The C4 Method(TM) - a simple, biblical-neuroscientific framework built on Culture, Communication, Clarity, and Confidence, showing readers how to rebuild their inner world from the inside out.

How to finally move from performance-based living to peace-filled freedom in Christ.

This isn't a self-help book. It's a soul reconstruction manual.
It's for the achievers who feel empty, the believers who still feel broken, and the people who secretly wonder if God's promises of peace, purpose, and abundance could ever apply to them.

Through vivid storytelling, spiritual insight, and scientific truth, Rewired by Grace proves that no matter how far you've fallen, you can heal, rebuild, and live free.
Because the same God who created your brain also created your comeback.
