"These 32-page episodes are the antithesis of the decompression that has marked superhero comics the past decade or so, and each reads like a full-length story rather than a sliver of a chapter of a larger story that doesn't deserve it. This is the sort of wacky, off-the-wall sort of story that more comics should be attempting. Turner s having fun, but he s also telling a genuinely entertaining story that works terrifically as a comic book and will no doubt pick up a fan base, assuming enough people give it a chance.
