[13] leaves: color illustrations; 28 cm. Dark green cloth spine; grey paper over boards with black cover title and color front cover illustration. No date of publication; advertised by the publisher in 1905. The first book by Australian artist Florence Harrison (1877-1955), who illustrated children's books and books of poetry by Christina Rossetti, William Morris, and Alfred Tennyson. Her striking Art Nouveau illustrations accompany amusing limericks for children. Extremely scarce. In Very Good- Condition: edges of cover rubbed; small stain on lower fore-edge of leaves; light finger soiling in lower margins of a some leaves; otherwise, clean and bright.
