Service [1874 - 1958] was a British-Canadian poet and writer, often called "the Bard of the Yukon". His travels inspired his poetry, and his poems were wildly popular. This book, primarily war poetry, was dedicated to his brother who died in W.W.I; Service was an ambulance driver and stretcher bearer during the Great War. 12mo, 192pp, publisher's green gilt cloth.
