Wanneer ’n bizarre geleentheid, vier maande later, d.m.v. ’n Internet-boodskap haar in staat stel om die nodige hulpmiddele te bekom om uit te vind wat met haar ouers gebeur het, word sy in die huwelik bevestig met die geheimsinnige Adam van Eeden, wat sy gesig met ’n masker bedek en sy o� verskuil hou agter ’n donkerbril.

Direk na die seremonie word hulle per helikopter na ’n afgele� eiland vol gevare geneem, waar al die vroue wit, en die mans swart sluiers en slooprokke dra.

Op die eiland kom sy gou agter waarom sy na die eiland gebring is, maar wie is die erg verminkte vrou wat vir Adam so belangrik is dat hy bereid was om met haar te trou en haar ’n miljoen rand te betaal om na die pasi�nt om te sien.
