About the Author

Barbara Kingscote currently lives just outside of Red Deer, Alberta. Having earned her MA and PhD in Veterinary Science from the University of Guelph, Kingscote has spent a lifetime working with animals. From researching zoonosis (diseases that can be passed from animals to humans), to studying reindeer in Canada�s far north, Kingscote has many more incredible true stories to tell.
