Dan Hanlon is a career inventor and entrepreneur of early-stage product development driven companies. He founded Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycles, and led the company through 16 rounds of financing that totaled nearly $100 million, achieving $31 million in first year revenue. The venture became an international grassroots story, and attracted nearly 20,000 shareholders, from every state in the Union, and from 15 other countries—from Australia to Switzerland.
As an inventor, he also previously launched EverGreen Solutions, a company that manufactured biodegradable packaging materials.
Over the past 25 years, he has been employed with two Fortune 500 companies, and has been involved with more than a dozen early stage companies.
After growing up on a dairy farm, Dan became a mechanic while earning his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of St. Thomas. He resides in Minnesota with his wife Carol and their three children, Hannah, Hunter and Hayden.
