About the Author

Jerry has authored several publications on industrial crane and rigging operations that are currently used in vocational-technical, apprenticeship, and college courses throughout the United States and Canada. He has been involved with the construction and maintenance of electrical generating stations since 1976. In addition to the numerous hours spent in front of the classroom teaching craftsmen of various disciplines, he has also developed and managed training programs for the nuclear industry. He is a member of Association of Crane and Rigging Professionals and serves as the chairman for the Membership Services Committee.He has been a frequent speaker on behalf of the safety in the construction industry, and promoting standardized testing and qualification of crane operators, riggers, and signalmen.
