FACSIMILE REPRINT of scarce pamphlet, in beige wraps, frontis., 27pp. O'Keefe #233. Originally published as an article in the September 14, 1878, "Philadelphia Weekly Times." The author, a captain in the Third Pennsylvania Cavalry, gives his account of the cavalry clash on East Cavalry Battlefield on the third day at Gettysburg, involving George Armstrong Custer and the Michigan Cavalry Brigade versus J.E.B. Stuart and Wade Hampton.
