About the Author

She is section editor for health policy of the American Journal of Medicine, contributing editor for Hospitals and Health Networks and the Healthcare Forum Journal, and a contributing writer to many other healthcare publications. Friedman is editor of the book An Unfinished Revolution: Women and Healthcare in America (1994).
