This question runs through Right Spaces, a collection of essays written between 2015 and 2020 that anticipated many elements of the current debate. Supplemented by a new, detailed foreword that sheds light on recent international developments, these essays, collated in English for the first time, reveal that architecture has become a central medium of the global authoritarian right, from ethno-nationalists and historical revisionists to libertarians.
