Your Rights In Him

If your life is hidden in Yahushua, what is legally true of you because you are in Him?

Your Rights in Him begins with one premise: you have no legal existence apart from Yahushua. Your old standing died with Him, and your life is now hidden in Him. Therefore, you do not approach Yahuwah on the strength of your own record, righteousness, authority, or worthiness. Everything you possess, you possess in Him.

But what are the implications of that?

This book follows that question through twenty legal implications of being in Yahushua: your standing, authority, inheritance, access to the Father, victory, righteousness, sonship, jurisdiction, representation, judgment, life, reign, priesthood, transfer, covenant, seal, freedom from the curse, action in Him, new name, and resurrection precedent.

Using the language of courts, deeds, inheritance, verdicts, covenants, jurisdiction, representation, and legal standing, Devon Chambers examines what it means to take seriously the words:

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with the Anointed One in Yahuwah.” — Colossians 3:3

This is not a book about trying to become worthy of what Yahushua possesses. It asks what necessarily follows if your entire standing is already in the One who possesses it.

You are not trying to establish your own standing.

You stand in His.

You are not trying to manufacture your own righteousness.

You possess His.

You are not trying to earn an inheritance.

You are in the Heir.

You are not fighting to produce a victory.

You are in the Victor.

And you are not approaching the Father as an outsider hoping to be admitted. The way has already been opened.

The twenty implications in Your Rights in Him are therefore not twenty separate doctrines. They are one fact turned slowly in the light so that every side of it can be seen:

You are in Yahushua.

The question is no longer merely what you believe about Him.

The question is:

Do you understand what is legally yours because you are in Him?
