About the Author
Attorney Barbara Kate Repa's areas of legal expertise include workplace rights, aging, death and dying. She has written several other Nolo books, including Sexual Harassment on the Job, Avoid Employee Lawsuits, Firing Without Fear and is also one of the authors of Nolo's popular software program, WillMaker. She has 20 years of experience as a legal journalist covering workplace issues, and more recently, as a consultant on workplace discrimination. She has been a guest on national radio and television, including ABC News, CNBC, NBC's "The Today Show," Court TV and National Public Radio. She has been a quoted expert in a number of publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Newsweek, USA Today, The Ladies' Home Journal and Woman's Day Magazine. Ms. Repa is currently VP of Content for HROne.com, a website concentrating on workplace issues for small businesses and human-resources personnel.
