Marinaro on the limitation page. Color plates showing rise forms. Black and white photos. Text drawings by Pearce Bates. A ground-breaking book showing the how and the why trout feed on surface insects and how fly fishermen can use the information to their benefit. The book is bound in quarter brown morocco with gilt titles on the spine and green cloth. Top edge gilt. Matching green cloth slip case. The book's spine is lightly faded, a little foxing on the limitation page, otherwise fine. The slip case is somewhat soiled and has a dent/abrasion on the back panel, otherwise near very good.
