Item description from seller

4to, magazine, glossy covers, illustrated, 64 pp. A little aging to covers, and some slight extremity wear, but bright and clean overall, spine in nice shape, internally normal aging and browning; very good plus. In late September 1952, Rocky Marciano won the heavyweight championship in a thrilling 13th round knockout over Jersey Joe Walcott. This issue of Ring covers the fight, and introduces readers to the new champion. This issue also covers some of the recent fights of Kid Gavilan, a middleweight contender at that time.
