A very scare volume on The riots at Birmingham in July 1791.This volume gives an authentic account of the riots with views of the ruins of the riots. This volume is an exact reprint of a pamphlet published shortly after the Riots, with the addition of Wittom's Views of the Ruins and their accompanying descriptions. The original volume was published in 1791 and was titled An Authentic Account of the Dreadful Riots in Birmingham occasioned by the Celebration of the French Revolution. The views of the ruins of the principal houses destroyed during the riots are in French and English.With eight plates and all pages present.Collated, complete. In the original paper wraps. Externally, worn. The front wrap is detatched and chipped to the extremities. Marks to the wraps. Internally, generally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Good Only.
