CAYLEN D. SMITH was born and raised in Southern California. She wrote the first draft of Ripples, her debut young adult fantasy adventure novel, at the age of seventeen and published it at nineteen. Smith loves to read, draw, and enjoys college life while working on the next book in the Guardian Series.
