This Is How You Rise: 180 Devotionals + Journal Prompts for the One Caught Between the Breaking and the Rise

This Is How You Rise is a sacred space for the one still healing.

With 180 devotionals and guided journal prompts, this book is a daily invitation to meet God in the middle of your mess — to rise slowly, tenderly, and truthfully. Whether you’re walking through grief, anxiety, trauma, heartbreak, or uncertainty, this is your safe place to feel, process, and hear from God again.

Each day includes a Scripture, a reflection that speaks to your struggle, and journal questions designed to help you reconnect — emotionally and spiritually. You'll find handwritten doodles in the margins, neuroscience-informed emotional prompts, and honest prayers written by someone who’s lived the breaking.

Author Amelia Plastina knows what it’s like to collapse — and what it’s like to be carried by grace. This Is How You Rise isn’t a book for the already-healed. It’s for the one learning to rise while still broken.

If you’ve ever felt too messy for God, too tired to hope, or too stuck to start again — this is for you.

You don’t have to rise alone. You rise with Jesus. You rise with this book.
