Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to corners and end bands. End bands slightly frayed and worn with crushing. Gilt stamping bright and clean. Lacking front fly leaf. Small spots of ink staining to bottom edge of text. Light toning to interior with minor instances of age spotting. Free of known markings binding intact. Please see photos. An odd book filled with a collection of poems, literature and humorous essays by Robert Jones Burdette (1844-1914) Burdette was an American humorist and clergyman who became noted through his paragraphs in The Hawk Eye newspaper in Burlington, Iowa.
